Well what can one say, yet another good ride taken this time by Bernaard, mainly a technical ride with a load of mud thrown in, just as Jock likes it.

Dez’s lights went yet again! So Dez rode round part of the course with no lights, until Nick kindly gave him one of his batteries. Then being able to see where he was going promply fell off, wrecking his front chain rings!

So during the drinks break, and with the help of the ever reliable Captain a bit of bike maintenance was needed using Dez’s tool kit, a knife & fork!

Bernaard’s ride finished with a mad/crazy dash through the forestry to the club house. It must be said, can the riders in front of the Captain go a little faster or the Captain will have to lead the way next time!

Next week is our annual Xmas ride remember, Santa outfits/fairy lights & bike décor are a must. Next weeks route will be: The Legion, a procession through the high street then onto, The Hollybush, Maen, Monty, Fish, Church house, then back to the club house.

Please remember Cunny & Quim are doing food so lets all try and get back to the club house!! With no mishaps!!

Spare a thought for Harty next week, we all know what happened last year, he’s already having flash backs so be a bit considerate, as someone cruelly pointed out, a bed has already been booked in at A&E Royal Gwent Hospital for him!
