Hello it's Chris from the Mooooos!........ Well, for the second week running Wednesday night was blessed with fantastic riding weather, but unfortunatlely once again not many Moos to enjoy it. An attendee worth amention was Geoff Davies who was making a welcome return after many weeks off the saddle. A notable absentee was Stephan, who following last weeks tumble had resorted to jogging as his bike was 'broke'. On showing his battle scars from last weeks altercation with Garlic Path it was observed by one and all that Stephan bruises like a girl!!!! The rolling thunder followed the Moos all evening which included the summit of Rudry Common where a few Moos tried to see what would break first.... their bikes or their bones!! and it was at the Maenllywd where a much needed refreshment was taken. The ride home saw the inclusion of Garlic Path, which saw carnage of the highest order as the large majority of riders struggled to find any grip, except those like Sam Clark Moto Cross rider of Victor Comic fame (Victor Comic Book for Boys-1967; a litreature masterpiece!) who anticipated the mud like conditions in summer weather and had mud tyres on. Gaz following a particulary spectacular crash answered the much pondered question that it is in fact the bike that will break first (so much in fact that four engineers couldn't fix a simple thing like a saddle!!!! And with the threatening storm erupting it was with impeccable timing that journey's end was found as usual in the TA where everyone including the football boys were suitably fed. In order to save some riding careers next weeks ride will be taken by Tom. Yours in Crashing Stunt. |
