A warm welcome to our new member, BUGS BUNNY. The second Machen Miggly Moos annual Xmas rise, was yet another one to remember.

Everyone managed to get around without any mishaps, including Harty! Much to the relief of the rest of the Moos. 18 started dressed in santa’s oufits, fairy lights and bike decorations.

With a procession through Machen high street, accompanied by Xmas carols on stereo, provided by Crock. Then, onto various watering holes and back to the club house. Mysteriously, when we arrived back at the club house, we had managed to end up with a gate crasher, called ‘Bugs Bunny,’ who for the rest of the evening stole the show.

Again at the Captains cost, on my going to work the next morning,‘Bugs Bunny,’ somehow had turned up hanging on my front door, looking none too good! To whoever has a weird sense of humour (that’s probably all of you!) my wife and I would like it to be known, that we are not partial to rabbit stew! I’ve no doubt who they are, after reading Options Odes.

Thanks to the landlady of the Church House, Cunny and Quim for supplying food. Thursday is our presentation/new Captain night, look forward to seeing you weirdo’s, lets hope it goes as well as last year.

May I take this opportunity of thanking you all, for a successful year and wish you a Merry Xmas and a Happy New year.
