November 17th 2004

Last night was another first class ride taken by Tom, some technical stuff, followed by the climb of Ochr Wyth then more technical stuff down to Machen.

Jock decided that the ride from his house to the Legion was too stressful, so made some kind of excuse that his lights were on the blink, and went home early.

Johnny’s lights faded early into the ride, but he managed to get round. I must take my hat of to Dez ‘the burp’, how he ended hanging upside down from a tree was a classic. It was a pity we didn’t get a photo.

I think that now and again some of the Moos should take time out and ride at the back of the pack and see what skilful bike handling is all about!

We all welcome Nick to the Miggly Moos and hope it’s not long before we see him having a few tumbles. His inauguration ceremony will take place along with Jim’s during our Xmas ride.

Again there is certain Moos who are intent on harming the Captain during the evenings ride, this must cease!! You know who you are! Time will tell……………

For the Moos who didn’t go to see ‘Deep Purple” you missed a good night. The artwork for the new jerseys has been approved, the delivery time, is around Xmas. Thanks to Cunny & Quim for putting on a fine spread and having the heating on!
