I will start this weeks report with an apology to my fellow Moos. Due to work constraints this weeks report is a bit like the inaugural rider of the month Dickie Watkins i.e. ‘on the short side!’

Another excellent ride this time led by Marty, incorporating quite a bit of snotty singletrack. Umpa Lumpa Option again could only make half a ride, apparently he was stalled because the white chocolate mix over spilled in the factory and Willy Wonka gave him a severe ‘dressing down!’ I would like to thank all those that donated to the theme of the evening. Again a good selection of sweets was on display. The themes during the first month have proved to be a success, but I would like to mention that from now any member not participating will be fined! Next weeks theme is ‘Indian snacks.’
After the theme the Moos (Dai Morgan) managed yet again pulled off a major coup by spotting the lads from GLC, who donned jerseys for a website photo.

Again a big thank you to Lyn the Landlady at the Royal Oak for her wonderful spread!

I would like to congratulate the aforementioned Dickie on his January prize. During the month Dickie was an inspiration to us all as he quite literally pulled the bull by the horns and pushed forward on his rigorous training regime. Well done that man!

Also congratulations to last years captain after completing his second bus pass / heating allowance / 10% off B&Q year. He did struggle downing downing his prize pint of Guinness, but did confide later that his colostomy bag was ‘brimming over.’

Next weeks ride will be taken by the very close second place in the rider of month competition, Harty.
