Captain Stuntys Corner - New for 2007!

28th March 2007

Hello Peeps,

Apologies to you all for the recent radio silence. I trust I find you all fit and well?

Having let the guard slip somewhat with the regular posting of reports it has dawned on me that although still quite young I am displaying early signs of Alzheimer's as i'm struggling to remember what actually happened on Johnsy's ride way back on the 21st. Here goes some edited highlights;

An all time best turnout of 23 riders all of whom finished the ride.

Option was in attendance for the first time in two months Berni's bike broke (again)
I was on Rogers spare bike (again)
Johnsy didn't get lost
The ever escalating battle between Crocket & Dickie continued.
Following the pub a 23 man 'Le Mans' style start ensued at the top of the woods.

It was Marty's ride the following week, for which I will have difficulty in remembering as I wasn't there!!! I did however make it for light refreshments in the TA and from eavesdropping a number of conversations I have established the following;

Dickie beat Crockett
Crockett beat Dickie
Option was out (again)
& Steve 2 didn't fall off

It was the last ride of the month therefore recipients for this months awards were;

Rider of the Month - Option (for making it out twice in a month)
T%*T of the Month - Dickie (for watching Lord of the Dance)

Cheers my Dears
