Russ' Revelations

31st August 2011

RUSS' RIDE

22 moo members met up for the ride, good to get those stinking pants on again, they're almost as dirty as Johnsy's.

6.45 departure into the woods at the end of New Row tracking up and keeping right up to the fire break (I was blistering).

Made our way up to the start of Ades and over to the start of the quarry (I hung back to make sure herd was complete).

Top half of quarry executed with ease by all and no lay downs yet. Then we came to 'the drop'. A couple of refusals as always and a few half hearted attempts left some moos fannying about half way down like fannies on fanny hill on fanny day in fannyville. (Ride the F*** ing thing).

Quick visit to Lisvane woods, just like to rattle a few bones on the way back down. Then over to the old Griffin to meet up eith OBEIKJ A\ 9 (sorry, that was the cat) who decided to join us. Good timing as it was getting dark and the pub was calling but not until a couple of punctures were tended to (think Russ was going for the world record but f*cked it at the end)

So over the valley to the church house for a warm welcome and a deserved beer. Quick one in the forge and back to HQ to fight for what food was left there again. Then a few more beers, happy days.

Keep on rolling

Bagga leaves! xxxx
