Newbury's Report

18th April 2012

slight change of plan for this ride as due to the weather being sh*te! it was straight up through rhydygwern woods on a nice single track to the start of ade's trail where we took a left down to the start of the now known and well ridden some call strongbow run, appropiate it may seem.Anyway it's a cracking little number if only the ar*eholes leave the fecking jump alone you know who you are, remember it's not your forestry, you don't own it please leave our jump alone that's all we ask.Point put strongly across it was down the lane to a nasty long climb up to the top of the dip,I was called a $*!!$*!! a few times (nothing new there then)and on to the now closed lisvane woods, this is where the ride was cut short cause everyone was covered in shite and wet, half way up we took a right down the rocky downhill then to the maen for some BEER,do i need to mention that i organised some chips and bunion rings as well, take note J man.

At this point the boos started to dwindle down to the t*ts 'n' a*se two by two or pairs to the warm welcome of a fire, grub, and more beer.

Take it easy if you need me i'll be the irish pub.
Jock 8-)
