Moo Sports evenings

Welcome to the inaugural Sports Evening Series of the Machen Miggly Moos. The series will comprise of 4 events with cash prizes for the top three places. A special prize will be awarded to the Spirit of the Series. The events are designed to allow all entrants a fair chance. Speed will play a part in some events but not in all. Each event will be individually scored to suit the type of event.

Entry fee - £2.50 per event.
Dependant on entry levels it is hoped the following cash prizes will be available:-
Winner - £100.00
Runner up - £50.00
Third - £25.00
Spirit of the Series - £25.00
Twat of the series – A night with Crock

 

EVENT 4 - FOUR CROSS- 14TH OCTOBER 2009

REGULATIONS

1. Walk course for familiarsation - 6.45 to 7.00pm

2. Practice from 7.00 to 7.30pm

3. Racing begins at 7.30pm and ends at 8.30pm

4. Everyone to get a unique race number that should be attached to front of bike

5. Racing consists of 2 heats for each person followed by a quarter final, semi-final and final"

6. Maximum of 4 persons in each race

7. Points for race positions are as follows: 4 for 1st, 3 for 2nd, 2 for 3rd and 1 for 4th

8. The highest 16 points scorers from the heats go through to the quarter finals

10. The top 2 in each quarter final race go throughs to the semi-final

11. Top 2 from semi final races go through to final

12. Full Suspension bikes incur 1 point penalty per race

13. Any cheating will incur minimum of 2 point penalty - there will be marshalls on course

14. No pushing, kicking or deliberate contact

15. Bike and upper body contact allowed

16. Race organisers decision is final
